Video Games

  • Good etiquette is to be observed at all times.
  • Do not stay too long playing single player games on a console, offer other people a chance to play if you want.
  • Do not remain playing a multiplayer game with your friends for too long, let other people have a go.
  • Do not ask people to move so that you can “Practice”.
  • No swearing/cursing.
  • No violence.
  • Be humble in victory and gracious in defeat.
  • If a player is discovered to be cheating or match fixing, they will be disqualified and prize withheld.
  • Do not run or mess around in the Video Games room. There is a lot of tech in this room so be aware of wires.
  • Judge’s decision is final.

Card Games

  • Be humble in victory and gracious in defeat.
  • Observe the ban list before tournaments. Players using banned cards will be disqualified.
  • Players deemed to be cheating or stalling will be disqualified and banned from future tournaments.
  • Players deemed to be stealing cards will be disqualified, removed from the convention and banned from future tournaments.
  • No proxies allowed in tournament play.
  • Players using fake cards will be disqualified.
  • Judge’s decision is final.


Pokemon Premier Event

The rules for this VG Premier Event are simple; No uber/event Pokemon (Mew, Mewtwo, Jirachi, Yvetal etc) and each Pokemon must have the blue hexagon, to prove that they were caught/hatched in XY or ORAS.

Sign ups begin at 1pm with the tournament to begin at 2pm. Bring with you:

  • 3DS Charger
  • Fully Charged DS
  • Team Sheet with your team, moves, nature etc
  • Pop ID (if you do not have an ID, one can be issued at the event)
